What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and no social-media pixels. Our own usage data is recorded on our server, not by cookies, and you can turn it off under Privacy choices.

What we do use

Name	Type	Why
`sb-…-auth-token`	Cookie or browser storage, set by Supabase	Keeps you signed in. Only set if you sign in. A tab-only marker also records that your profile from before sign-in was merged into your account.
`faceaura_client_session_id`	Browser storage	A random ID that links this browser to its profile, so your reads are remembered without an account.
Profile display entries	Browser storage	Remember small display choices, such as which profile sections you collapsed and which changes you have already seen.

Your control
All of these are needed for the features they support, so there is nothing to switch off beyond usage data. Clearing your browser's site data removes them; you will be signed out, and without an account this browser will start a new profile. To remove your data from our servers too, use Your data on your profile.
