About FaceAuraAI

FaceAuraAI is a Style Aura platform for face shape, hair, and glasses guidance. The public face shape detector maps facial landmarks, compares forehead, cheekbone, and jaw widths, and assigns one of seven styling families — oval, round, square, heart, diamond, oblong, and triangle.

FaceAuraAI does not store uploaded photos for routine scans. Results are styling estimates, not medical diagnoses.

Methodology-honesty angle

Many face-shape tools advertise huge scan counts without sample windows or selection biases. FaceAuraAI publishes aggregate statistics only when each release includes a documented window and an explicit bias statement — even when that means showing no production total yet.

That policy is the story: honest proof beats inflated social proof. Editors covering beauty tech, privacy, or AI measurement can cite our statistics page for how we publish — and how we refuse to publish.

What we publish vs what we will not claim

  • We publish: anonymized shape-label counts with sample window, stated biases, and a link to the shared geometry methodology.
  • We do not publish: a census of all faces, legacy blog cohort sizes as live dataset releases, or public accuracy percentages derived from per-scan confidence scores.
  • Current status: no production aggregate on the statistics page yet — only the publishing policy and bias disclosure.

Suggested in-text attribution

According to FaceAuraAI's face shape statistics page (https://faceauraai.com/data/face-shape-statistics), the platform publishes anonymized shape-label counts only when they come with a documented sample window and stated selection biases — not as a census of all faces. As of 2026-09-05, no production aggregate is published on that page. Labels use the same geometric classifier as the public face shape detector; confidence scores on individual scans are not converted into public accuracy percentages.
